This Project FREE Social Media Marketing Student Assistant position will:
Develop and utilize social networks (sourcing, tracking, and posting to social media) to promote and recruit new participants and increase the number of couples participating in a relationship enrichment program conducted virtually and through partner agencies across the state of Georgia.
Research and evaluate similar programs' marketing and digital content.
Assist with updating and increasing traffic to our website.
Track social media engagement levels and marketing data - deliver reports at regular CQI meetings as instructed.
Plan, coordinate, and assist in locating opportunities (referral partners, events) for promoting our program.
Position reports directly to Brigette Love and works collaboratively with CARE Lab team members.
This grant funded position will continue through at least Summer 2025. Potential for position to continue if future grant funding is secured.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
Preferred:
A junior, senior, or Master's level student pursuing a Communication, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or related degree.
Experience working with digital marketing platforms and tracking software as well as social media campaign development and implementation (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, GoogleAds, etc).
Experience with graphic design and video editing software.
Experience with Google search optimization preferred.
Familiarity with culturally-appropriate marketing efforts as they apply to our varied target audiences (military couples, couples who live in underserved areas, are members of underserved groups, are in distress, have uniquely challenging circumstances, and more) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Teams, and OneDrive.
Creativity, excellent written, editing, and proofreading skills, high level of responsibility & professionalism.
Ability to work independently (self-starter) and with teams.
