As we grow we are seeking a Project Financial Analyst in one of our offices located in: Indianapolis, IN, Dayton, OH, Columbus, OH, Fairview Heights, IL, or Atlanta, GA.

The Project Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, and budget support for our growing organization. The Analyst must have a keen attention to detail, analytical capability and take an ownership approach to all tasks. This role supports the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with other Project Financial Analyst to ensure that monthly cost to complete updates are completed as needed and performs monthly revenue/profitability review to ensure consistent and accurate project data and revenue/profit projections.

  • Works with other Project Financial Analyst to ensure that Resource Plan reports and NRF reports are incorporated into monthly project review.

  • Works with project management and other Project Financial Analyst to review and ensure accurate monthly client billings according to contract terms.

  • Monitors unbilled report for potential issues and reports any issues to Project Financial Analyst Team Lead.

  • Analyzes, reviews, and monitors MIS reports, automated MIS messaging and communicates trends and potential problems with project management and sector leaders and market directors.

  • Reviews collection issues and make direct client contact when applicable when previous collection attempts are unsuccessful. Coordinate with Project Financial Analyst Team Lead to review issues with Sector Leader and Market Director.

  • Coordinates with Project Managers to approve subconsultant invoices on their behalf.

  • Works with Project Control Specialist to help implementation and maintenance of sector/market goals, KPI's, project fundamentals and resource planning.

  • Educates internal clients on MIS and accounting reports.

  • Participates in company-wide initiatives as needed, to include quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS and four (4) years of related experience, MA/MS and two (2) years or eight (8) years of related experience

  • Must have proficiency with Accounting Systems and various reports.

  • Four (4) or more years using Microsoft Office

  • Professional experience with reading, analyzing and interpreting complex financial documents

  • Experience in a role required to effectively provide excellent customer service and the ability to communicate in both internal and external relationships for all essential job functions; with all levels of management, clients, and employees.

  • Professional experience multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional experience managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; demonstrated organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through coupled with a sense of urgency.

  • Deltek Vision experience preferred.

  • Candidates with AEG (Architecture Engineering Geospatial) experience preferred.

VIEW JOBS 5/28/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-08-26T00:00 POSITION PURPOSE The Financial Systems Integration testing team within Finance Integration supports the Finance and Accounting departments within Home Depot through execution of integration between the Financial Systems and other IT Departments and Finance/Accounting to ensure proper controls and execution of systems and process changes and implementations. The sr. financial systems analyst is responsible for being the financial systems testing integration resource on various projects and is skilled in project execution post project definitions and scoping, requirements gathering. The sr. financial systems analyst focuses on documentation, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing, and project implementation and post implementation support. * Plays an active role in system developments of SAP or other systems that interface with the General Ledger. * Develops testing plans, coordinates testing execution with direct reports and IT and business partners. Is accountable for ensuring on-time and accurate completion of quality assurance in software development while continuously evolving testing methodology to align with agile testing practices. * Coordination with Financial Reporting and Other Departments to ensure that all pertinent financial information is accurately and timely reflected in the Company's General Ledger. * Managing, planning and implementing projects to support company initiatives and system enhancements MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * Works w/all levels throughout the enterprise by serving as a liaison between the assigned internal customer business unit and various functional departments to ensure policies and procedures are developed and enacted. * Documents system processes, and training the end-user/providing support as needed. * Provide guidance, training, and supervision to others to ensure maximum productivity and development. * Analyze systems and business processes, develop cost-benefit analysis, and develop and manage workplans to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
