PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Project Executive is the on-site representative of the Company responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a single complex construction-management project; as well as mentoring multiple Project Managers and Engineers.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Project Executive typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.

  • Enforce project reporting requirements

  • Manage critical issues

  • Assume overall accountability for jobsite safety and quality


  • BS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management

  • 10-15 years in the lead role on projects valued at $100 million or larger

  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience


  • Strong technical and communication skills are critical

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Leadership and management skills

  • Knowledge of Prolog, Microsoft Office (preferred)

Enables the company to leverage all methods along the analytic continuum: descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive. Leads all Healthcare Analytics activities to provide industry-leading analyses and information, with a particular focus on externally-facing deliverables, to drive positive financial and qualitative outcomes for the company. Oversees development and implementation of business processes to ensure integrity and rigor of analytic work products. Accountable for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of new and existing initiatives to improve population health and appropriately align incentives through provider payments. Coordinates and manages departmental activities, resources and training, to ensure maximum positive financial impact for the organization. Develops and elevates relationships with company business units, including but not limited to Sales, Care Management, Quality, Pharmacy, Provider Engagement, Actuarial and Information Technology. Works in partnership with VP of Healthcare Information Management to drive use of data and technological resources, thus facilitating and enabling evidence-based decision making. Stays abreast and brings an external perspective to bear of innovations, and builds on innovative successes in other markets. * Works collaboratively with company stakeholders (Sales, Care Management, Quality, Pharmacy, Provider Engagement, Actuarial, and Information Technology) to identify healthcare information needs and analytic questions, design analyses using appropriate methodologies and data, and use analytic output to improve the company's competitive position * Leads and interfaces with relevant parties to resolve issues, and maintains and/or accelerates progress to meet Healthcare Analytics project outcomes * Serves as the subject matter expert in analytics methodologies and best practices, including measurement, study design, interpretation and communication of analytic results. * Supports large, complex healthcare analytics projects by identifying key work flows, establishing departmental cross-functional teams, developing project plans, milestones and structures to communicate, report, execute and achieve defined goals * Communicates strategic and operational analytic concepts and findings to all levels of the organization. This includes developing communication products that summarize conclusions and recommendations from projects, presenting actionable opportunities, and proposing strategic and operational options for debate and consideration by the organization. * Strategically partners with Healthcare Information Management and Information Technology to assess, and develop and/or acquire the appropriate analytic tools to maximize departmental productivity and achieve both departmental and corporate objectives. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Advanced degree in Healthcare Analytics, Economics, Public Health, Biostatistics or a related field. Master's degree required; Doctoral degree preferred. * Five years progressive management experience * Minimum of ten years progressive experience in healthcare analytics and/or research in health care provider and/or payer environments * Advanced knowledge of health care, health insurance, health care research, and advanced analytic methods including predictive and prescriptive modeling * Demonstrated effectiveness at a senior level in planning, leading, organizing, and directing staff, teams, and projects in multiple locations while simultaneously serving multiple stakeholders * Ability to collaborate with all levels within the organization, including executive management, clinical and financial services, information technology, sales and direct reports Medical Mutual is looking to grow our team!
