The Atlanta, Greenville, Portland, Minneapolis, and Tallahassee offices make up the engineering centers for US Operations within the Wood Process and Energy division. Key Responsibilities

  • Client interface for Portland Office

  • Lead remote project engineering design team

  • Interface with Project Management and Client and liaise with other project discipline

  • Oversee the devlopment of loop diagrams, control panel layouts, intrument location plans, Industrial Network design, and database design/administration

  • Assist in preparation of I&C cost estimates and defining scopes of work for project design and study proposals

  • Prepare Equipment Specifications, Data Sheets, Purchase Requisitions and Bid evaluations as required. Review Vendor Documents

  • Build internal and external relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal & external service providers or contractors

  • Work with home office engineers, technologists and designers to provide design and deliverables to a variety of projects

Skills / Qualifications

  • Registered Professional Enginee, or EIT preferred

  • Prefer 5 to 20 years' experience with engineering design for Heavy Industrial Installations

  • Power Plant, Pulp and Paper Mill, Utility Solar, Cement Plant and/or Cogen Plant power design experience preferred

  • Previous experience (>10years) in Iengineering design in the field of Consulting Engineering in North America

  • Demonstrated experience leading project design teams

  • Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations used in North American

  • Knowledge and Experience using some of the following applications: Excel; Word AVEVA Instrument;

  • Liaise with other project disciplines

  • Be flexible with the ability to manage change

  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and staff in a team environment

  • Must be able to work independently or with minimal supervision and still meet commitment deadlines

  • Good organizational skills, writing skills, presentation and communication skills

  • Willing to travel up to 50%

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

SUMMARY The DevOps Engineer is position is responsible for performing advanced programming tasks for the design and implementation of automated build, deployment, and infrastructure management of multiple products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Works closely with the technical and support teams to deliver and manage services with high uptime * Advocate for automated processes to improve quality, deployment, and support of multiple products * Build and maintain solutions and tools for automated builds, deployment, monitoring, and operations * Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes for deployment and infrastructure issues * Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. * Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. * Network with internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. * Builds new environments and updates existing environments through use of automation * Maintain cloud infrastructure for multiple products and services * Must have working knowledge of DevOps concepts and automation. Resolve issues in creative ways. Some assignments may be broad in nature.
