Job Summary
We have partnered with the largest and fastest-growing manufacturing of paper in North America and its need for a Project Engineer. The individual in this role plans, conducts, and directs major engineering projects involving independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of integrated pulp and paper mill equipment.
What You'll Do:
Provide practical project engineering and design expertise utilizing incumbent's education and training on all projects or sub-projects assigned. Completes necessary calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, etc. as assignment requires according to approved time schedule and engineering budget.
Assist Production and Maintenance in troubleshooting operational issues, performing root cause failure analysis, recommending improvements, specifying equipment, and coordinating outside services.
Conceive, present, design and oversee projects with purpose of, but not limited to: improving processes, updating process equipment, improving current facilities and designing plant additions and new plants.
Apply project management techniques in facilitating equipment-related improvements and/or optimization of existing maintenance programs.
Your Background Should Include:
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
Three or more years experience in project engineering or related field.
Experience with power generation and high voltage power distribution systems a plus.
