PeopleSolutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Engineer Role right outside of Dayton, OH.
This is a full time, direct hire job for one of the country's leading environmental services groups focusing on design-build construction projects.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to be hands on with your work - if you're tired of sitting behind a desk all day dealing with paperwork and computer screens, this is a great position for you to get in the field construction experience.
In this role, you will be the primary resource for scheduling, pre-planning, and resource forecasting for any engineering/technical responsibilities of the project.

Required Background: 1-5 years of experience working in a construction environment.
Relevant internships and co-ops will be considered.
Any sort of background in water/waste-water infrastructure is a plus.
A B.S.
in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
Civil or Mechanical Engineering Degrees are preferred.

Job Summary The CTCT division (a joint venture between Trimble and Caterpillar) develops positioning and control products for earthmoving and paving machines in the construction and mining industries, using technologies such as GPS, optical total stations, lasers and sonics. The products are used in a range of applications where the operator of the machine benefits from having accurate horizontal and vertical guidance. The successful candidate will be designing, releasing, validating, and documenting installation parts and kits to support grade control on construction equipment. The candidate will also help coordinate work for the team, assisting with prioritization, schedules, and resource assignments. The candidate will work closely with marketing, engineering, program management, manufacturing, and OEM teams to release high quality products for the earthmoving and paving industries. Travel (including international) is less than 10%. Key Responsibilities: * Determine the scope of work being requested * Transform concepts into 3D part models and assemblies * Select best cost suppliers and help manage part procurement * Validate designs in the intended application * Create assembly instructions * Balance priorities * Assist with Engineering resource assignments * Create, communicate, and monitor schedules Skills & Experience Required: * 4 year bachelor's degree in an applied Mechanical/Electrical/Ag Engineering * Passion to work on and around construction machinery * Highly driven (self-starter) * Effective written and oral communication skills * Ability to communicate with people in multiple geographic locations * Ability to schedule and meet deadlines * Ability to understand and oversee details needed to release a product * Passion for creating and improving processes Skills & Experience Desired: * Experience with Engineering design * Familiar with ProE/Creo/Wildfire * Experience in manufacturing and distribution * Experience with purchasing and procurement We are Trimble !
