We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for our Denver District office located in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for field and project engineering, quality control, contract administration, shop drawing review, submittals, scheduling, and related support functions.

  • Change order management administrating, pricing, submission and tracking.

  • Assist Project Superintendent and Project Manager in establishing the construction plan and engineering methods.

  • Assist with equipment selection and rental coordination Material procurement and expediting.

  • Coordinate and review drawings, submissions, specifications, changes and document control.

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the project schedule and costing system.

  • Prepare and track progress payments and estimates.

  • Subcontract administration defining scope of work, answering inquiries, monitoring progress, tracking and processing payments.

  • Inventory control monitoring and tracking of equipment and resources.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years relevant construction project management experience with progressive project responsibility.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or other degrees related to construction project management/supervision.

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

  • Candidates must be willing to relocate to future project locations if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BIM360/Revit and Primavera.

  • Commercial construction experience is a bonus.

Essential Responsibilities: Under limited supervision, performs assigned system integration and testing tasks. Under limited supervision, assists senior engineers in integrating software applications for customer. Performs basic software development tasks. Desired Characteristics: Good software systems development and/or integration skills. Good understanding of highly complex hardware and software configurations in a real-time environment. Good PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications. Ability to shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity. Ability to occasionally work non-standard hours to accommodate business needs. Must be able to use telephone, PC monitor, mouse/track ball, and keyboard for extended periods of time in order to complete assigned task and duties. Must be able to use copier, adding machine, and fax machines on an intermittent basis. Walking, filing of documents in upright file cabinets, and occasional moving of storage boxes and heavy books/files is a regular activity within job scope.
