Job Description:
Responsibilities include:
a. Participate in the development of technical specifications, acceptance tests plans/procedures and technical data requirements.
b. Review Technical Data Packages developed by equipment vendors such as drawings, technical manuals, and test reports.
c. Develop equipment calibration procedures for use by Navy RADIAC Calibration Laboratories.
d. Participate in First Article and Production testing.
a. Review Engineering Change Proposals: develop equipment field changes as needed.
b. Maintain up-to-date technical data (drawings, calibration procedures, technical manuals, technical repair standards, etc.).
c. Conduct failure analysis, calibration interval analysis, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) analysis, and periodic Life Cycle Audits; manage RADIAC assets and repair parts.
d. Prepare technical data package and coordinate logistical support for equipment fielding.
e. Develop defielding and demilitarization procedures for obsolete equipment.
Required Skills and Experience:
Applicant must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and troubleshooting/problem-solving abilities.
Experience working with radiation detection equipment (especially dosimetry equipment) or in Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program is desired, but not required.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
A secret security clearance
