Project Engineer-Npi

Akkodis is seeking a Project Engineer- NPI position with a client located in Geneva, NY. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or Packaging Engineering. Will prepare, schedule, monitor and coordinate the assigned engineering projects. Will manages the manufacturing process from conception to completion and evaluate proposals and documentation, plans the whole manufacturing process and oversees the implementation to completion.

Pay/Salary Range $70k-$90k

Project Engineer-NPI job responsibilities include:

• Act as the technical liaison between R&D, Package Engineering and Operations to ensure production processes and equipment can effectively manufacture new products through new product development and pilot/scale up phases.

• Execute and document scale up processes and input all operational cost into an NPI system inclusive but not limited to flammable processing and filling applications. Communicate and collaborate with all functional groups of the NPI teams.

• Lead cost saving initiatives from concept, quantification through to product realization. Achieve line efficiency through labor reduction & automated packaging solutions.

• Execute new product capital projects from concept and budgeting to execution and closure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or Packaging Engineering. is required.

• Minimum Five years' related experience.

• Must have experience in Packaging Engineering

• Auto CAD Experience is required.

• Microsoft Project (MSP) is required.

• Must be US Citizen
