Project Engineer

We are looking for a Civil or Environmental Engineer with 0 to 4 years of experience to work out of our Madison office. As our Municipal Project Engineer, you would work on a variety of projects, depending on client needs, with the goal to eventually design and manage projects from start to finish through design and/or construction.

Duties:

• Design transportation, storm water management, green infrastructure, sanitary sewer, water main and other municipal infrastructure projects
• Interact with technicians, engineers, project managers, municipal officials, contractors and the public regarding project related design and construction elements
• Prepare project-related permit applications at the Federal, State and local levels
• Build positive and productive relationships with coworkers and clients
• Depending on your experience, interest and workload, there may be opportunities to work on site development, agricultural and/or natural resources projects

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate shall possess the following qualifications:

• Enjoys working in the municipal engineering field and enjoys working with other professionals in a collaborative team-focused environment
• Be self-sufficient with the ability to meet deadlines and lead project components
• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering (or a related degree)
• AutoCAD Civil 3D basic knowledge (preferred but not required)
• Have strong communication skills and be comfortable working directly with clients and contractors
