Manufacturing Engineer

Due to growth in our manufacturing division, we have a prime opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer at the Kirby Risk Service Center in Lafayette, IN, who can work as a team member and support customers directly to provide the best solution resolve manufacturing issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communication with organization leadership, internal customers, and external customers

• Builds customer products from prints

• Analyzes customer requirements and provides customer with the best solution in the most cost-effective manner

• Resolve manufacturing problems with customers and internal build groups

• Create product build visual aids and work instructions for the production associates

• Designs and writes specifications for pre-production projects as needed

• Develop customer relationships to:

• Uncover opportunities for additional projects

• Collect and report customer comments and complaints

• Assist production associates with new builds

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technical field

• Strong ability to read and interpret prints

• Recognize the importance of developing and maintaining relationships with customers

• Demonstrate professionalism when representing the company

• Possess excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

• Excellent computer skills and aptitude

Hours and Travel: 7:00am-4:00pm. Travel to customers as necessary.
