Project Engineer

Location: Tarboro, NC, USA

The Project Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining large & small project schedules, budgets, and meeting project milestones, to ensure new products are ready for manufacturing. The department currently consists of two Engineers, supported by Cross Functional members of all departments in the facility. During the lifecycle of a new product introduction (NPI) project, team members will participate in after-hours meetings and occasionally work during normal holiday shutdowns.

Job Summary:

• Responsible for supporting process development of NPI.

• Works with cross functional teams to determine application specific process requirements.

• Provides lessons learned input to design teams through Design for Manufacturing.

• Supports Customer Audits and Visits.

• Create and present reports during the NPI life cycle.

• Create long term capacity plans.

• Ensure NPI project does not go over budget.

• Support Customer requirements.
