Project Engineer Intern

We are looking for an Intern to support our Applications Engineering and Project Management group based in Santa Ana, CA. The position is full-time 40 hours per week, with some room for flexibility based on schedules. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to learn quickly and gain exposure to product development and standard processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Applications Engineers and Program Managers, including but not limited to part number creation, update Status and miscellaneous items on KeyedIn Projects, ECO generation and tracking, and Factory follow-ups

• Update Product Specifications based on redlines/feedback from Applications Engineer/Program Manager

• Generate Configuration Orders Requirement Specifications (ORS/CORS) for low complex projects.

• Documentation maintenance on SharePoint

• Provides clerical support for any outbound shipments

• Assist with BOM conversion to standard format and uploading to Cost Tool

• Wiki site updates, including but not limited to list of STBs UEI has integrated with and BLE based remote control units

• Product teardowns

• Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.

• Responsible, prompt, and courteous.

Education

• College student with an interest in Engineering and product development

$19 - $21 an hour
