A brighter future is in your hands. We're currently seeking a Project Engineer II who will assist our project management team with construction documentation and construction management of large scale site development projects.

What you'll do:

  • Managing the production of our high quality service

  • Reviewing take-offs with estimating team

  • Managing document control including change orders, billings, field production tracking, purchasing documentation and contract administration

  • Preparing reports and information as requested

  • Coordinating between branch administrative office team, field employees, sales team, estimating team and branch management on a regular basis

  • Working closely with clients, vendors, sub-contractors and employees; ensuring exceptional customer service and quality at all times.

Skills we're seeking:

  • Strong work ethic

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Customer service experience

  • Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management

  • Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)

You will be part of the Mechanical Engineering team developing complex mechanical solutions for the Next Generation ddPCR instrument systems. You'll report directly to the head of mechanical engineering. Come join us and be a key player in our next breakthrough product. Responsibilities * In depth knowledge of and application of mechanical principles and theories and their application to developing cost-effective, reliable and high quality instrument systems. * Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria. * Effectively, trains, influences and mentors staff, providing work leadership as assigned. * Supports project/program activities by performing work with an engineering specialty which involves various types of research, investigations, analysis and interpretation of data. * Ensures satisfactory quality of work and provides feedback to managers on process improvement. * Effectively collaborate with manufacturing during the transfer of new products as well as post launch during sustaining development activities. Drives design for manufacturability and test strategies. * Work closely within multidisciplinary teams, where you will interface with other instrument functional teams, project management, biology, software, bioinformatics, marketing, quality/regulatory and others. * Reviews and analyzes product requirements, and articulates and documents mechanical system requirements and functions. * Participate in efforts relating to mechanical requirements definition, and functional decomposition, mechanical system architecture definition, modeling, and compliance including verification plans and reports. * Identifies and recommends long term tools, standards and methods to drive continual mechanical engineering improvement. Qualifications * BS in Mechanical Engineering. MS desirable. * Training in Design for Excellence principals preferred. * DFSS Green Belt certification is desirable. * 2+ years' experience in the engineering/development of complex systems, preferably medical devices. * Proficiency with CAD, CAE/Mechanical Analysis packages (ie. Solidworks, ANSYS/COMSOL) and business productivity tools (PLM, PDM, ERP). * Knowledge of GD&T standards. * Strong verbal and written communication skills.
