Future Aviation, Inc. is a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE-traded company, is seeking a Project Engineer. The Product Engineer leads and manages processes and teams that:
Grow revenue through new products
Grow revenue by ensuring all products exceed customer expectations
Improve performance and reliability of all products
Identify, implement and improve supporting technologies
Ensure regulatory compliance
Oversee Engineering Technicians to meet production schedules and maintain quality for the assigned areas per Future Aviation, Inc. requirements.

PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze existing commercial aircraft components in order to reverse engineer them and develop equivalent parts including repairs with improved performance and cost savings
Use inspection equipment such as an optical comparator, coordinate measuring machine (CMM), optical equipment, pin gages, calipers, micrometers, etc. in the analysis and reverse engineering of aircraft parts. Training is provided as required
Demonstrated proficiency in design specification definition and interpretation, dimensional tolerance analysis and have an understanding of material properties for the purpose of reverse engineering commercial aircraft components
Demonstrated proficiency in developing models and drawings and an understanding of GD&T.
Develop documentation to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory process
Manages projects and teams to on time and on budget completion of deliverables
Work with in-house engineers in material analysis and have a basic understanding of material processes and characteristics
Act as liaison with our manufacturing sources for products designed by Future Aviation
Lead and direct the work of others.
Support Future Aviation's' customers with technical and product related information
This position may require 5% travel to visit airline engineering departments
