Closely work with project managers, stakeholders, facility management, Engineering and Maintenance team, Contractors, Facility Field Services, and vendors to ensure that project objectives are met and that everyone is informed of project progress and changes. Assist in implementing compliant project-related work including Work Order preparation, Purchase Requisition, drafting Scope of Work, managing weekly Owner Architect Contractor (OAC) meetings, and coordinating with the patient care department, facility department leads, and facility managers.

Healthcare Facilities Project Documentation: Prepare lookahead plans and schedules, Work Induction Board documents, Change Requests by reviewing financials in budgets and invoicing, and Project Execution Plans, and assist with contract administration. Design Management:

Review designs at 30%, 60%, and 90% milestones in the Stakeholder and OAC meeting. Make sure the designs follow authorities such as ADA Standards for Accessible Design, and Triennial Joint Commission (TJC) requirements. Support the project team by responding to RFIs, and submittals and ensuring decisions are made in compliance with the problem statement and scope of the project.

Ensure the streamline of construction documents submitted to the City or Authority of Jurisdiction for the permitting process. Assist in reviewing the ADA. Coordinate with the design architect in developing designs that facilitate the expansion of services and increase efficiency and effectiveness in solving the problem statement for each project.

Planning Management: Implementing the design and planning and executing of infrastructure projects at healthcare facilities and ensuring that they meet the needs of patient departments, healthcare staff, and interdisciplinary and inter-departmental stakeholders. Execution Management:

Develop impact operational matrices, Method of Procedures (MOPs), and communication plans that consist of risk mitigation strategies adhering to project execution plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), Pre-Construction Control Risk Assessment (PCRA), Utility Shutdown Requests (USRs), The Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) / Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) and AHJ. Construction management: Work with Project Managers, Inspection of Record (IOR), Engineer of Record, and Mechanical Engineer of Record and oversee the construction process, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Manage construction contracts and ensure that contractors comply with the terms and conditions of the contract. Review the final punch lists, prepare Final project Acceptance (FPA) documents, and process the financial closeout of the project.

Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards by developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures as required by the client.

Support the PMs to potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to project teams, stakeholders, and management. You will also prepare regular project status reports and present them to project stakeholders and management.

Make sure sustainability principles are incorporated into designing and constructing healthcare facilities and systems, reducing their environmental impact, and promoting energy efficiency Here's what you'll need: REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or a related field and 24 months of work experience as a Project Engineer or a related occupation. Special Skills or Other Requirements:

Expertise/ knowledge of: HealthCare or Related Industrial Advanced Facilities. Construction Engineering.

Project Management. Understanding of Civil Structural and Architectural (CSA), (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) MEP, Space Management, Instrumentation and Controls. Knowledge of Design Engineering, development of construction documents.

Engineer in Training License. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

  • Knowledge of Sustainability Principles in Energy and Water Systems. Reviewing and responding to Design and Construction Request for Information (RFIs) and Submittals.

    Building Automation Systems: Building Control Services, Web CTRL, Medisys

  • Building Management System. Creating Design and Construction documentation.

    Design tools: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Space view. Construction management software applications Procore, MS Primavera 6, MS Project Management, MS Vizio, ProjectWise, Unifier and VPlanner.

    Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
