We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our Public Services Team in our Fairfax, VA office. We specialize in civil engineering, land surveying, landscape architecture, and land planning services in the design of residential, retail, office, transit, industrial and municipal projects. Planning and design of a variety of civil engineering projects related to public infrastructure, water/sewer/storm water infrastructure and transportation.

A qualified candidate will have experience producing technically sound product to client specifications on time and within budget. They will function as the lead designer in the preparation, organization and submission of drawings to the appropriate jurisdiction. They will manage the development of contract documents understanding the scope of work for each project. They will ensure quality control, including QC checklist. They will assist the Project Manager and other team members to ensure the project remains on task and within the scope of work.


  • 3-5+ years of civil engineering design and/or construction management experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required

  • EIT is required, PE in VA, MD or DC preferred.

  • Technical proficiency in all aspects of civil engineering, including roadways, streets, grading, SWM/BMP, erosion and sediment control, storm sewer, sanitary, and water design

  • Experience working with federal and public sector civil engineering projects is required

  • Knowledgeable of industry requirements

  • Proficiency with the following computer applications: AutoCad, Civil 3D, Hec Ras, Hydraflow, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook

  • Be active in engineering/planning community. Attend and participate in organizational meetings/committees of SAME, ASCE, ACEC, DBIA or other industry related groups.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Used Car Salesperson / Pre-Owned Auto Sales Purpose: * The used-vehicle salesperson is responsible for selling used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. Attend sales meetings. * Maintain a prospect development system which includes a group of prospect locators and sales associates. * Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively. * Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product. * Know and understand equity and values, and be able to explain depreciation to the customer. * Know and understand the federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales. * Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department. * Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
