Job Description

CACI is seeking a Project Engineer to support our customer in Lorton, VA.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Work closely with program management to generate the customer driven force protection solutions (focus is on critical asset protection, integration of perimeter intrusion detection systems (IDS) incorporating optical, thermal, active IR, and radar devices supported by video assessment and surveillance systems, access control systems) and develop cost estimates with the maximum usage of cost-conscious labor.

  • Design and lead project specific force protection engineering efforts and support the project manager in the technical aspects of project execution.

  • Responsible to ensure standardized processes, documentation, templates, and best practices are developed and incorporated to ensure consistent execution and delivery; also ensures usage of scalable standard application methods and techniques, works to develop standard tools and procedures, and directs resources to see that the team remains aligned with the overall program objectives.

Required Skills:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering with five (5) years of recent ESS experience.

  • Experience and understanding of construction designs for power and communications plant in support of electronic security system installation.

  • Knowledge of DOD regulations and guidelines for physical security and force protection.

  • Two (2) years' experience developing project estimates, bill of materials, and labor costing for multimillion-dollar security projects.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications to include MS Project, and AutoCAD.

  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.

  • Occasional OCONUS travel required.

Desired Skills:

  • In depth knowledge of USAF Physical Security regulations and guidelines.

  • Professional Engineer certification

  • Professional certification as Physical Security Professional (PSP).

  • Experience in the execution of process standardization, quality assurance, continuous improvement methodologies such as ISO 9000, CMMI, Six Sigma, etc.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of train equipment in accordance with FDA and Amtrak Standards and guidelines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Perform cleaning assignments for train cars in accordance with FDA and Amtrak standards and guidelines. * Drain and flush waste tanks. * Vacuum, mop, dust, sweep, wash walls and windows. * Uses chemical cleaners, equipment and material in accordance with regulatory agencies and HAZCOM guidelines and procedures. * Maintains proper care and use of materials, equipment, machines and hand tools normally associated with assigned job. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or GED. * Experience in cleaning. * Must successfully complete training and attain/retain certifications applicable to assigned job. * Experience in commercial cleaning with OSHA approved cleaning compounds and tools preferred. * Some computer skills preferred. . * Knowledge of commercial cleaning requirements. * Ability to use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans and operate toilet servicing equipment. * Ability to read, write and communicate proficiently.
