Job Description Project Engineer/ Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction A highly-respected General Contractor in the Chicago area is seeking a Project Engineer/APM to add to their awesome culture. Looking for someone that will assist in the overall management of a project from ground up to completion.

This includes planning, organizing and controlling the coordination activities, contract and subcontract negotiations, and provide information and ongoing communication to team members. Responsibilities: Ensure job-specific records are maintained and are current. Work with the Project Manager to issue all subcontracts and purchase orders are properly executed Assist Superintendent and PM in arranging for and coordinating all requirements for mobilization.

Process Change Orders; Proposed Change Orders; submittals, RFI's, transmittal's Ensure the project administration meets the Quality requirements.
