Summary/Objective
This position will provide analysis, support, planning, improvement, and implementation of business processes to meet the goals and objectives of the organization. This position will support all TVS North America new business requirements.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Business Development/Account Management to launch and support the develop and implement solutions to meet the requirements of new and existing business
Independently identify, lead, and execute Six Sigma / Continual Improvement projects
Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine processes, staff requirements and production standards
Organize complex data to drive business decisions
Create business plans to justify capital expenditures and process improvement plans
Deliver reports and presentations to internal audiences and external audiences, including existing customers and prospects
Lead project and implementation teams
Lead offsite implementation projects as required
Provide training, resources and documentation
Oversee and mentor other Industrial Engineering resources providing mentorship, project guidance, training, and knowledge transfer of processes, systems, and lean methodologies.
Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, specifications, service capabilities, and project deliverables
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree required in a related technical field or equivalent work experience
Master's degree preferred in a related technical field or equivalent work experience
5+ years of work experience in Industrial Engineering or related Engineering Field
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
Lean manufacturing experience is a plus
Supply chain or logistics is a plus
Technical (hard) skills:
Strong computer skills; MS Office, Outlook, AutoCAD
Microsoft Project experience is a plus
Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Knowledge of ISO standards
Ability to conduct accurate and descriptive time studies
Ability to create and read a process flow chart
Formal Lean Training and Certifications are a plus
Ability to read dimensional engineering drawings

Physical Requirements
Regular exposure to high forklift traffic.
50%/50% office environment/ warehouse environment
Warehouse conditions are subject to seasonal temperatures
Required PPE: steel-toed shoes and safety glasses, when on warehouse floor
Hours of Work
Full-time
Typically Monday Friday
Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required
Some overtime and Saturday work
Travel
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Salaried Position
Eligible to participate in the company's benefit package first of the month following 60 days of employment
Frequent travel between locations in North America is required
