Project Engineer

Duties:

• Project engineering/management including developing scope of work, engineering drawings, technical specifications, schedule, and job costing.

• Research alternatives and recommend optimal solutions to assigned projects

• Manage equipment suppliers, internal resources and outside vendors and contractors to meet project goals

• Communicate continually with management on project plans and status

• Ensure a safe and proper work environment by compliance with Company, OSHA, SQF, local, state, and federal standards and regulations.

• Perform high level troubleshooting to optimize efficiency, safety, quality, and downtime

• Provide equipment and process support to manufacturing

• Train and instruct maintenance, production and quality personnel

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
• 3-5+ year's Project Engineering / Management experience

o Projects can include: Sustainability, Capital, Process Improvement, R&D, etc.

o Experience with overseeing projects including design, timeline, and budget

• 3-5+ years' experience in a high volume manufacturing environment (paper, plastics, laminating, printing, packaging, or other relevant industry would be preferred)
