Project Engineer

Actalent is currently hiring a Project Engineer in the Grandview, MO area. This is a great opportunity to advance your engineering career and capitalize on your experience! Excellent communication skills and technical problem solving capabilities are necessary for success in this role!

Description:

The Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of engineering, development and project management for all variants of equipment.

• Research and development of new technologies and products.

• Establish chassis specifications and dimensions to achieve proper functionality and weight distribution of final product. In doing so, ensure chassis is fit for environment and in compliance with local regulations for end user.

• Verify truck design is compliant with NFPA, JIG, ATA, CSA or others as required.

• Assemble a detailed Bill of Materials for each job assigned.

• Create and approve drawings to company standards.

• Supporting the production floor as necessary.

Skills:

Electrical, Design, New product development, Electrical design, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years working experience in an engineering role.

• Experience with BOM's.

• Design experience with brackets, electrical schematics, hydraulics.
