In support of the MBTA's Bus Facility Modernization Program, the Jacobs is looking to add a Project Delivery Manager to our team. The Project Delivery Manager will have the chance to provide project management support through a multi-year, multi-disciplinary program which will be transformative to the overall MBTA operation.
The Bus Facility Modernization Program will include the construction of several new maintenance facilities and the renovation of several others.
Key program elements will include:
Modernization of facilities such as the adoption of smart building systems
Bus fleet electrification (battery buses)
Exploring alternative program delivery opportunities (joint development / P3)
Public and stakeholder engagement

This Project Delivery Manager:
This position will be dedicated to the support of the Bus Facility Modernization Program. You will provide primary support to the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager, including but not limited to:
Supporting the development and execution of the program strategy
Coordinating the activities between program disciplines, team members, and sub-contractors
Tracking and reporting on project status and financials
Preparing and reviewing program documentation and communications
Supporting the development of presentation materials for internal and external briefings
Direct client contact on program matters
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Planning, Construction Management or appropriate related field
At least 5 years professional experience is required
Public sector experience preferred but not required
Being detail oriented and the ability to work independently are essential
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to communicate complex issues to various audiences are critical
Strong capability with Microsoft Excel for use in generation of internal and client reports
Experience with project planning, scheduling and progress reporting
