Manages all data collected for the project, ensures the quality of the data, conducts statistical and thematic analyses, conducts literature reviews, and assists in co-authoring reports and presentations to stakeholders. Facilitates, coordinates, and engages in data collection, database management, data analysis, and reporting activities in support of the North Hartford Ascend Pipeline project, funded by a US Department of Education Promise Neighborhood grant awarded to CT Children's Medical Center.
This position is 100% grant-funded contingent upon annual renewal of external funding. The position will end on or before December 2026
ABOUT THE NORTH HARTFORD ASCEND PIPELINE
This role supports the North Hartford Ascend Pipeline (Ascend): a place-based, cross-sector initiative that integrates schools and community and social services and supports to help children and families reach their full potential. In addition to the core responsibilities outlined in the job description, this position will:

Support early identification, referral, and linkage to community and social services and supports
Support data collection and analysis to monitor implementation and impact of Ascend
Ascend is funded by a five-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education Promise Neighborhoods program and sponsored by Connecticut Children's.
Hiring Range Budgeted Starting Salary is $50,455 to $63,000 depending upon experience

Description of Key Responsibility
Tracks, analyzes and manages quantitative and/or qualitative data gathered as part of assigned research and evaluation projects. Generates required and requested reports for the contracting agency(ies) and submits them in a timely manner. Co-authors annual and other research and evaluation reports for assigned projects.
Description of Key Responsibility
Supervises research staff on day to day project activities and manages daily operations of the Center for Social Research. Oversees gathering of data from program sites and other project partners to make sure data are collected, cleaned and input accurately. Meets regularly with the Director of the Center for Social Research to review staff assignments and performance; collaborates with the Evaluation Analyst to assign and coordinate staff workloads.

Attends regular meetings with research sponsors, project partners, and program staff to ensure the goals and directions of the Center are maintained and strong working relationships are established, cultivated and preserved. Collaborates with staff from contracting agencies. Provides technical assistance to project partners as needed.
