This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Administrator to join our Earth & Environment Team serving primarily an environmental site remediation project in southeastern Ohio near Steubenville. The candidate will report to a field office trailer daily. The project is expected to have a duration of 4 years or more.
This position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced team who provides solutions on environmental and engineering projects. Your role could include involvement through all stages of a project's life cycle while working closely with project and technical managers. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with professional experts within a leading global consulting company to meet our client's objectives and solve their challenges. For this immediate need, you will work closely with WSP's onsite construction manager.
Your Impact
Full time position working 7:00 a.m.to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work overtime, if required, to meet internal or client deadlines
Field office receptionist greeting staff and hosting guests while performing other job duties simultaneously
Plan, coordinate, and be responsible for office functions and/or meetings (for example, office supplies, coffee, catered breakfast/lunch)
Assist project team members with document formatting, copying, report production, binding, shipping, filing and scanning
Assist project team members with electronic filing on SharePoint sites
Assist with distribution of incoming mail and shipments delivered to the field office
Assist with review and processing vendor invoices; become proficient with internal A/P process, routing and tracking invoices for payment
Other office duties as assigned
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
High School diploma (or equivalent)
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and attention to detail
Outgoing, friendly personality with ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Project a professional company image through personal interactions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and and SharePoint), Adobe software,
Proficiency with vendor software/ systems such as Fedex, UPS, Grainger
Ability and willingness to learn technical and business vocabulary
Ability to operate and maintain common office equipment (photocopying, computer monitors, WIFI)
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities for individuals and teams within the field office
Secretarial or business experience in a professional office setting (preferably at an engineering, construction, or architectural firm) preferred but not required
