The Project Coordinator for Strategy and Organizational Development will work across the company to gather requirements, identify dependencies and ensure project objectives are clear. With a focus on integrating multiple divisions within the organization, this role requires big-picture thinking and proactive problem-solving skills as well as the social adaptability to facilitate alignment across different personality types. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a changing environment. Inherent curiosity, a natural drive toward collaboration, excellent judgment and interpersonal skills with proven ability for effective cross-cultural communication are highly desired attributes.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works with project stakeholders to track project schedules, resource plans, and develops status reports, as needed
Proactively identifies dependencies and issues between teams and facilitates resolution
Tracks project scope changes, delivery timing, and key project metrics
Communicates project progress, changes, and risks
Interfaces with a wide range of people from individual contributor to executive levels in all areas affected by a project
Builds and maintains strong working relationships with team members and project stakeholders.
Conducts project meetings, and consistently employs project management best practices
Applies experience and knowledge in support of operational and technology goals
Responsible for management of project artifacts
2+ years of experience utilizing structured methodologies, such as project management practices
Ability to engage in proactive and regular communication with stakeholders at all levels based on a clear understanding of desired project outcome
Clear and concise communicator, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively facilitate meetings for diverse audience types (from peers to senior executives)
Ability to align anticipated project outcomes with broader organizational goals and initiatives; "big picture thinking" and an orientation toward collective results
High social intelligence, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders and help project stakeholders make informed decisions
Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to anticipate issues, recognize problems as they arise, synthesize complex scenarios into key issues, determine root cause and quickly find resolutions
Adaptable self-starter with the ability to create structure out of ambiguity
Strong self-awareness with a high sense of responsibility and accountability
High proficiency with software tools, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
