PROJECT COORDINATOR

Job Brief

We are looking for people who are passionate about Telecommunications Project Coordination. If you have experience in coordinating projects interested in expanding your expertise in Project Management we'd like to get to know you and discuss more about this opportunity. This is a Summer opportunity, designed for working College student who would like experience working for a Power utility, or communication company.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope

  • Collect management requirements and transform it into projects pipeline

  • Work with resource management on resource planning, availability and allocation according to projects pipeline

  • Work with team on project work to keep project going according to schedule

  • Communicate to the management changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs

  • Track and analyze project performance, cost performance, schedule and report to the management on the changes project scope, project schedule, and project costs, being able to suggest the improvements to all the above.

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Assist in creation of maintenance lists ( AC Filters, generator repair logs, maintenance related logging)

  • Enter trouble tickets into Maximo system

  • Enter purchase requisitions for Operation and Maintenance work, FCC Licensing and all task assigned.

  • Coordinate warehouse deliverables, and provide logistics for the Telecom Department.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work well with large and diverse teams

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

  • Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Coordinates and performs a variety of administrative functions in support of business unit and/or department operations. Ensures efficiency and adhere to relevant company policies and procedures. Some assignments may be non-routine.

Project Coordinator - Las Vegas, NV 4545 West Diablo Dr Las Vegas, Nevada, 89118 United States Merchandising Displays / Visual Project Coordinator - Las Vegas, NV THE OPPORTUNITY: Ensure proper fulfillment, invoicing and payment on all customer orders. HOW YOU WILL IMPACT WESTROCK: §- Create and submit accurate and timely production masters to Manufacturing, allowing for effective scheduling and efficient production. §- Set up item masters in the system. §- Request ink swatches from offset departments and obtain appropriate customer approvals §- Cost-effectively create, value, scrap, and bill for inventory, avoiding excess inventory §- Devalue and/or scrap inventory that is not needed to meet customer orders; bill all remnant inventory when customer order quantities are decreased §- Ensure that costs of items are properly captured and included in the item file in WRMD's system §- Enter Sales Orders and Ship Orders to facilitate shipping and billing ensuring correct pricing, billing address, shipping address, end date, and order quantity §- Provide Sales Order Acknowledgements to accounting to ensure that all billable charges are invoiced; assist accounting where required to ensure accurate billing §- Review Invoice and/or BOL prior to submission to customer §- Enter Purchase Orders to include correct pricing and specifications; confirm vendor receipt of PO and delivery date. Provide mylars, pdfs, disks, proofs, as required. §- Use WRMD specified vendors as appropriate. §- Verify purchase order price; ensure it meets or is lower than estimated cost §- Validate order quantities produced or procured, shipped, and invoiced, and notify appropriate Sales personnel and/or customer if order is short of customer's order quantity.
