Project Coordinator

Our client has been an infrastructure industry leader in the Clearwater area for over 150 years. Due to business expansion, we are currently searching for reliable and motivated candidates to fill their open Project Coordinator position.

Duties include:
Assisting and supporting the Project Manager in their daily duties.
Overseeing permitting procurement and communicating directly with the permit manager with any issues.
Involved in coordinating projects from inception to completion.
Track and report project progress.
Update documentation and reports, to include data entry.
Assist and/or perform duties as recommended by supervisor.

Requirements include:
Minimum of High School Diploma Required.
Above average knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
Basic Sign Knowledge preferred.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented, organized, able to work with multiple individuals at all levels.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in support of several individuals and projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required * Documents project objectives and ensures they meet expected business results/outcome. * Communicates with involved departments and management; facilitates communication forums including team meetings. * Creates project plans including: resource tracking, assignments, tasks, dependencies, deliverables and milestones, due dates, predecessors, budget and financial tracking, issues management. * Assembles project steering committee(s) and communicates regularly and effectively with management on project progress. * Coordinates project meetings with relevant team members. * Serves as single point of contact for all project management related questions and refers technical questions to appropriate subject matter experts and ensures timely follow up. * Facilitates change management activities. * Provides leadership of project teams and interdepartmental management to achieve project objectives * Performs additional duties as assigned Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines. * Able to create and conduct formal presentations. * Able to avoid win/loss situations and ensure productive resolutions of conflict. * Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed. * Able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information. * Able to facilitate group interactions.
