Doherty Career Solutions has partnered with a leading contractor specializing in underground utility, tunneling and excavation services in their search for a Project Coordinator. New college grads are encouraged to apply! Pay will be negotiated based on experience and skill set.
The Project Coordinator assists the Project Manager in organizing, coordinating, and managing resources throughout the project lifecycle. Significant field work is involved so a flexible schedule is also required.
Description of Responsibilities:
Ensure safety on the job site
Assist PM to control project costs
Provide monthly updated cost to complete on projects
Approve project invoicing and track project billings
Assist with project transfer from Estimators to Project Managers
Submit and review change orders per the Project Manager
Submit project timecards after PM approval
Participate in project meetings
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
1-2 years of construction related experience is helpful but not required
Knowledge of construction related software including Primavera, HCSS, Excel, Word, etc.
Significant travel required with the ability to travel nationwide
