About the Job
The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator Research Assistant (Research Professional 2). This is a 32 hour per week position.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Qualifications
All required qualifications must be documented on application materials
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS with at least 2 years of experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 6 years.
Experience in working with IRBs to obtain study approval and maintain study approval by submitting required documents
Experience administering cognitive tests to individuals with severe mental illness
Experience in performing structured diagnostic interviews to individuals with severe mental illness.
Strong oral/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to achieve desired goals
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of related research experience
Experience or familiarity in areas: customer service, transportation, information technology, mental health services
Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, File maker Pro and Access
Good problem solving skills; Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with clients and program staff from diverse cultural and social class backgrounds
