Position Title: Project Coordinator, PCCD Grant

Department: Impact

Supervisor: Beth Tomlinson, Sr. Director, Education

Position Status: Part-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt 24 hour per week

Hourly Rate: $20

Grant funded position: ends 5/31/2021.

Position Description

UWGLV has received a 2-year PA Commission on Crime & Delinquency grant. Through the PCCD grant, UWGLV will work to reduce the negative impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on students by supporting the implementation of trauma informed care in schools and other youth and family serving systems.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for all data collection and analysis, generating outcome reports, developing and maintaining data systems to store collected data, tracking attendance of trauma informed care training participants, tracking number and location of trauma informed care trainings being provided as a result of this grant, coordinating meetings of grant partner agencies, posting success stories and highlights on social media.

This grant funded position will end on 5/31/2021. It is a part-time hourly position with a schedule of 20-24 hours per week, flexible within normal business hours Monday Friday. It is based in the UWGLV office in Allentown, PA.

Work Experience and/or Education

  • 3-5 years of professional work experience in a range of the following: education, criminal justice, health and human services in an administrative, data management or project management capacity. Relevant experience in other sectors or related education considered in lieu of work experience.


  • Effective verbal and written communication skills including presentations to groups

  • Ability to enter, manage and analyze data

  • Solid and proven project management skills

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel

  • Understanding of and commitment to the mission, vision, and goals of United Way

  • Staff members who drive a vehicle on UWGLV business must provide proof of a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.

VIEW JOBS 8/22/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-20T00:00 Job Description Overview: The Shipping Associate's primary duty is to scan picked product, process data, pick and pack product in support of the distribution processes on 1st shift. The hours for this shift are 8am to 4:30pm. This position is located at our Grant Way location. Starting rate is $16.25/hour. Core Responsibilities: * Primary duty is to utilize SAP to process data uploaded to the computer for product that needs to be packed. * Pack individual or master cartons per customer/warehouse requirements while maintaining accurate counts. * Operate pallet jack and sitdown forklift as necessary for shipment fulfillment. * Operate packaging equipment used to support packaging process. * Palletize, label, weigh and wrap outbound shipments. * Accurately pick and count product from storage locations for production and/or shipping. * Operate order picker, Drexel and walkie rider lifts to bring product to work area or put packaged product away using a handheld RF device as needed. * Maintain a clean working environment utilizing the 5S program. Additional Responsibilities: * Load or unload product from trailers. * Assist in other areas of the distribution center as directed by supervisor. * Support the Manager of the Distribution Center, warehouse supervisors and inventory management. * Suggest ideas to improve process design and development. Core Capabilities: * Ability to use/enter data in computer. * Ability to work effectively with the team. * Understanding of distribution processes. * Ability to help improve shipping processes to guarantee high quality. * Solid attention to detail. * Ability to take initiative. * Strong numerical skills. This position does not allow for relocation or visa sponsorship. Job Requirements Basic Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * Minimum 1 year of warehouse/distribution experience and 3 months of forklift experience * Ability to work overtime as needed * Ability to read, write, and speak English * Ability to lift 50 lbs.
