Milliman's Seattle Health practice serves a wide variety of organizations, including: insurance companies, health plans, state and federal agencies, healthcare providers, reinsurance companies, and employers. We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. This position will require project planning experience and the ability to work closely with multiple team members to deliver products and services to our client base.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of and experience with working through a project lifecycle. This person will be extremely detail-oriented, with an impeccable knack for follow-through and completion. A background in supporting software application delivery, IT, the financial services, or the insurance industry is a plus.

Planning and management of small projects and sub-projects independently or in cooperation with consultants.
Ensuring timely delivery while maintaining Milliman's quality requirements
Project administrative and financial tasks
Develop and improve on existing project management processes
Supporting team members in everyday problems and issues by delivering practical, detailed task information
Track quality, effectiveness and efficiency of production
Communicate with internal resources to organize and facilitate work
Communicate with primary project consultant and others to manage schedules, resolve issues, manage capacity, etc.

Associates degree or higher
2+ years of project coordination experience
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work on a highly professional level with internal team members.
Competence in email, report and presentation preparation.
Desirable qualities: multitasking, proactive, solution-oriented, eye for detail, good with numbers
Ability to take direction from senior team members and execute in a timely manner
Capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects and tight deadlines
Problem solver with an interest in making effective impact on quality control
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience in/with health insurance industry
