You'll join a team dedicated to leading a project through completion from land acquisition and site planning to entitlement, engineering, and architecture and design, while ensuring the project is financially profitable.

The Development team at LC is seeking a talented team member to join us in bringing a community to life by leveraging a structured process to ensure the path from vision to reality is met. In this role, you'll be responsible for project management and support for all active Real Estate Development projects within Lifestyle Communities with an emphasis on redevelopment projects.

Make an impact through these primary responsibilities:

  • Provides support for architectural projects as required.

  • Responsible for documentation control, coordination and distribution management and completes administrative tasks as necessary.

  • Provides creative and technical feedback on Schematic Design, Design Development, and/or Construction Documents packages prepared by outside consultants.

  • Coordinates design projects among multiple departments to ensure operational needs are met and the brand is represented.

  • Coordinates and participates in project closeout, including punch walks, procurement of goods, delivery management, installations, and documentation of progress as required.

Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline required.

  • Up to one (1) year of experience in a team atmosphere required.

  • Experience in home renovation or other building rehab preferred. Experience in commercial real estate sales or property management desired.

  • Experience performing construction administration (including RFI response, submittal review, and site visitation) preferred.

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe acrobat reader/writer required.

  • Knowledge of CAD programs such as AutoCAD or Microstation desired.

The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors. The successful candidate will serve as a primary point of contact and project coordinator for the sponsored research projects under development by ASC Technology Services. The project manager will dedicate 50% time to the American Religious Sounds Project (ARSP), a multi-year religious studies initiative that includes a sonic digital archive, community engagement workshops, and a multi-modal digital platform for exhibition and research and 50% time to overseeing and supporting the development of other digital research projects across the college. Demonstrated proficiency/fluency with one or more methods commonly used in digital humanities projects (e.g., social network analysis, text encoding, database design and development, textual mapping, GIS, data visualization, sentiment analytics, topic modeling). The coordinator will manage and coordinate the current ARSP project. Work closely with community collaborators as well as faculty, students and digital development team across universities to advance the goals of the American Religious Sounds Project; collaborate with co-principal investigators and ARSP staff on grant administration including monitoring accounts and overseeing the budget; assist with social media and publicity to raise the public awareness and visibility of the ARSP; assist with and expand existing community outreach initiatives associated with the American Religious Sounds Project. The coordinator will also serve as a primary contact for other projects, schedules and facilitate regular meetings with principal investigators and members of the App Dev team; maintain and document project time lines and client communication; Serve as liaison between the development and UI/UX teams; develops new relationships between Arts and Sciences faculty and ASC Tech. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a field related to humanities scholarship, religious studies, digital humanities, or the humanistic aspects of the social, behavioral, and information sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; demonstrated proficiency/fluency with one or more methods commonly used in digital humanities projects (e.g., social network analysis, text encoding, database design and development, textual mapping, GIS, data visualization, sentiment analytics, topic modeling); familiarity with the digital humanities landscape (e.g. projects, best practices, common tools, resources); demonstrated experience leading or collaborating with researchers (students and professionals) in the humanities and sciences across colleges and departments; experience with management of projects; demonstrated interest in building inclusive environments.
