Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator will support a major Shipbuilding program and be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain major Change and Configuration Management Status Reports and supporting documentation.

  • Assist with delivery of CCB (Configuration Control Board) Minutes.

  • Assist with input for Changes, Waivers, and Deviations from approved Technical Baseline.

  • Manage Preliminary Change approval documentation on behalf of both CM and Technical Government Leads.

  • Prepare and facilitate weekly Change Status meetings.

  • Serve as a liaison to Shipyard counterparts on behalf of the Government Team.

  • Prepare necessary supporting documentation for CCB Changes.

  • Support Government CM Team in CCB Meetings/actions.

  • Interface across large teams of Government Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance:

  • Bachelor's degree OR high school diploma or equivalent AND a minimum of three (3) years of related experience in a DoD environment in lieu of degree.

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant professional DoD CM experience.

  • Knowledgeable with regard to the identification, resolution, and oversight of configuration discrepancies as they impact Class Baseline.

  • Ability to prepare and provide continuous management of related electronic files and correlating data input and tracking.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Required to interface across large team of Government Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

  • Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred:

  • Government contractor experience.
  • NAVSEA Program Office support experience.
