General Overview:

Project Coordinator will work to ensure customeronboarding deployments are on time, on scope, and meet agreed upon qualitystandards for customer facing deployments. The project coordinator will act as thepoint of contact for the customer's stakeholders and work closely with theinternal deployment teams as well as the management team, businessstakeholders, and technology staff to delight customers and make projectssuccessful. Formal project coordination is one aspect of this position, butleadership, flexibility, prioritization, communication and analytic skills areparamount.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primarilyresponsible for leading projects, teams, and initiative deliverablesconsistently and independently. Including: project definition, projectplanning, resource scheduling, risk and communication management, and post-implementationreview.

  • Ensuresadherence to standard practices and procedures, provide leadership to championand refine existing procedures.

  • Assuresthe creation, existence, quality, and accuracy of necessary project relateddocumentation.

  • Coordinatesall levels of resources working on multiple projects, as projects vary incomplexity and duration.

  • Assistsbusiness members with functional requirements gathering and report and testingdefinition.

  • Asnecessary, act as liaison between external customers, third party vendors,and/or internal business teams.

  • Accountablefor continual tracking and analysis of project performance through oral and/orwritten status reports.

  • Removingimpediments for project teams

  • Facilitatingdiscussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Exceptionalcommunication skills, both written and verbal

  • Exceptionalorganizational and time management skills

  • Ateam player with demonstrated skills in prioritization, multi-tasking, andsuccess in adapting to change in a fast-paced environment

  • Abilityto work with limited direction and supervision

  • Mustbe comfortable executing on project tasks including requirements documentation,status updates, functional specifications, usability testing, etc. for IT basedprojects

Education &Work Experience Required:

  • Familiaritywith managing JIRA projects and with Confluence is a plus

  • Experiencewith working with external customers

  • Experiencewith projects around web-based application development and Infrastructurepreferred

  • Comfortlevel with diverse projects involving varying scopes, business participants,internal and external customers, technologies, and project team skill levels

  • Experiencewith Agile Development best practices and/or hosting industry experience is aplus

  • PreferredSkills/Experience: Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Scrum

Serves as a resource to project managers and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvement/changes.
