With approximately 50% of their time, the project coordinator will work with several large studies in West Philadelphia, assisting with partnership development, data collection, analysis, and report and paper writing to support research and evaluation activities and contribute to scientific literature related to place-based initiative evaluation and community-led systems change. The project coordinator will also work with the ComPASS program, an NIH-funded initiative focused on community-led structural interventions throughout the United States. Drexel leads the national coordination center, which supports the community grantees in their planning, implementation, and evaluation of their structural interventions in their local communities. With the other half of the project coordinator's time, they will provide project coordination for the Evaluating the Public Heath Cedar project. The goal of this project is to collect pilot data to begin the community-engaged evaluation of this place-based, co-location model of healthcare services with public health programs. Results will establish a baseline and also help to further refine the ongoing evaluation design for this innovative model.
