Craig Technologies - brains and home of the creators of CraigX and SSIKLOPS for the ISS! Our engineering teams are designing and/or building flight and/or ground hardware for every US space program. Those programs include Commercial Crew, Commercial Cargo, Space Launch System (SLS), Orion, Solid Rocket Boosters (SRB), Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicles (EELV), International Space Station (ISS), Commercial Space to include SpaceX, Blue Origin and One Web (with more to come) and the Lunar Gateway. Notably, Craig Technologies has commercialized a microgravity experiment platform on the ISS (Craig-X) allowing commercial companies, government agencies and academic institutions to test materials and electronics in space and also provides microsatellite mission, operations and integration services using the largest satellite deployer on the ISS - supporting satellites up to 250 lbs. The timeline for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) deployment is as little as 14 months based upon the satellite development stage.

Marshall Integrated Program Support Services (MIPSS) for Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) provides engineering support and business support services with an environment that enables and promotes technical excellence. MIPSS support at MSFC programmatic activities provides the necessary services to assure disciplined performance of work and timely application of resources.

Detailed Description:

Under close supervision, provides technical support for planning, coordination, integration, and review in direct support of routine activities for program, project, and/or organization. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, facilitating communication flow across program, project, and/or organizational interfaces; tracking government products and deliverables; tracking all program, project, and/or organization actions to maintain status and ensure on-time closure; preparing and monitoring facilities for technical training, teleconferencing, and meetings; and maintaining program-, project-, and/or organization-wide calendars or other support documents.

  • Minimum Educational Requirements include AS/AA and/or 0-5 years of applicable experience.

  • Must be able to pass a NASA background check (MRPT)

Desired Experience:

  • Training and/or Certification in Project Coordination, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma or other project related focus are highly desired. Must have MS Office skills. MS Project is desired.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, facilitating communication flow across program, project, and/or organizational interfaces; tracking government products and deliverables; tracking all program, project, and/or organizational actions to maintain status and ensure on-time closure; preparing and monitoring facilities for technical training, teleconferencing, and meetings; and maintaining program-, project-, and/or organization-wide calendars or other support documents.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, interacting with senior levels of program or project management and stakeholders to develop and analyze program/project management status reports; preparing/presenting project level presentations for internal and external use; facilitating communication flow across program, project, and/or organizational interfaces; tracking government products and deliverables; tracking all program, project, and/or organizational actions to maintain status and ensure on-time closure; and maintaining program-, project-, and organization-wide support documents.
