Project Coordinator II

Advanced-level engineering work in the coordination of Palm Beach County (PBC) water and wastewater treatment facility project. Prepares/reviews engineering reports, design plans, cost estimates, specifications, contract documents and the permitting of water and wastewater projects. Conducts preconstruction meetings with contractors; reviews/processes pay requests; assists in the construction inspection and administration of water and wastewater projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field; minimum of two (2) years of experience in engineering work. Equivalencies: Unrelated Bachelor's Degree and two and a half (2.5) years of related experience; related Associate's Degree and four (4) years of related experience; unrelated Associate's Degree and four and a half (4.5) years of related experience; graduation from high school or equivalent recognized certification and five (5) years or related experience.

PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE IN: Construction management/inspection; water/wastewater treatment process; Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Also desirable: Project Management Professional and/or valid Florida (FL) Engineer in Training (EIT) certifications.
