Position Information
Job Title Project Coordinator Department Sociology Research Lab - 21803 Pay Grade 7 Job Category Administrative Job Summary
The Project Manager will report to Dr. Kelly N. Foster, Associate Professor of Sociology and Director of the Applied Social Research Lab. The Project Manager will work to support faculty-initiated research projects as well as client-funded and grant-funded research projects.
The Project Manager will serve as the main point of contact for assigned projects with the university, funder, community partners, and all ETSU project personnel. They will be responsible for securing and maintaining IRB approval (where appropriate) for all project-related activities. The Project Manager will assist faculty and administrative staff with grant proposals and budget worksheets and assist in client development and identification of grant opportunities for ASRL. S/he will work with other faculty and staff on the development of related reports, presentations, and publications. The Project Manager will be responsible for the setup and implementation of data capture systems for data collection and management, work with Qualtrics on survey design and data capture, participate in ongoing process evaluation to ensure project milestones are met and manage all scheduling and travel related to assigned projects in addition to other duties as assigned.
This position is fully in-person.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Sociology or a similar discipline.
Experience with research project coordination/management.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Sociology or a similar discipline.
Experience with SPSS and Qualtrics.
Experience with Canva, Adobe, or other design or data visualization programs.
Experience in academic research.
Salary $43,900
