Position Title: Project Coordinator Bwell

General Summary:
Under general direction, performs a wide range of complex duties centered on health and wellness program & services coordination, delivery, and evaluation. Supports the growth of Beaumont Health's thriving workplace culture through the integration of healthy environments in the areas of mindful eating, joyful movement, and finding life-work fit balance.

Essential Duties:

  • Supports the Bwell Ambassadors Program and Bwell Intentionally self-care initiatives.

  • Assists with coordination and delivery of special projects and events (e.g., MoveWell and employee energizers).

  • Based on expertise, design, promote and facilitate wellbeing programs & services.

  • Ensure sequential scheduling for programs that require multiple sessions (e.g., exercise classes, Relax & Restore).

  • Collaboratively, redesign and handle ongoing maintenance of Bwell communications and marketing (social media, webpage, etc.).

  • Oversight of various Beaumont Health Fitness Areas and activity programs including employee facility orientations and special exercise programming.

  • Attendance at staff meetings and other pertinent meetings that increase employee engagement, workplace culture, etc.

  • Prepares project presentations and messaging for wide-spread audiences such as new employee orientation.

  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Standard Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in health, wellness, exercise science or other related fields; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • 1-2 years related work experience. Presentation experience desired.

  • Certifications Preferred: personal trainer or exercise specialist; wellness coach (completed an ICHWC-approved training program); CHES; RDN; other.

Other Qualifications:
Decision-making, team building and well-developed organizational skills. Ability to serve as a program facilitator. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Solid computer skill proficiency in e-mail and Microsoft products. Ability to work flexible hours and locations to meet the needs of the workforce.
