Project Controls Specialist III

Excel Engineering, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated individual for a full-time Project Controls Specialist, Level III. This is for our power utility client in Denver, CO.

• This role will be focused on scheduling.
• Responsible for creating and updating Primavera (P6) project life cycle schedules.
• Perform primary project controls assignments to support Project Managers.
• Accountable for generating reports, assisting with control activities, responding to data requests and developing/maintaining/supporting project schedules and/or detailed cost tracking.
• Coordinates with Project Managers to obtain weekly and monthly cost and schedule updates.
• Assist the Project Managers in providing accurate project forecasting and review of expenditures.

Requirements

• Understanding engineering/construction lifecycle scheduling within the oil and gas/construction generation renewables space.
• Targeting 5 years of experience in scheduling.
• Must have advanced MS Excel skills.
• Must have experience with Primavera P6, SAP Work, and Asset Management.
• Familiarity with data analytics reporting tools preferred.
