The Project Controls Manager serves as an internal business consultant supporting project planning, project delivery, and facilities operations. Primary responsibilities include development of analytical data and reports to enable management to improve departmental efficiencies in key performance areas and the accurate conversion of policy information from and to various systems.

This position will also lead the development and support of project management and operations software systems with Information Services & Technology (IS&T). This new team member will implement, configure and maintain functionality on a Project Management Information System application platform, coordinate Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing, tailor and extend solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness through workflow development and configuration. This position will regularly evaluate and analyze systems, processes, workflows and tasks, and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies in all areas To be successful in this position, candidate must have demonstrated experience and capability implementing, maintaining and building upon business process solutions in construction management, architectural design and engineering or facilities management. Experience with vendor-provided SaaS-based enterprise information management platforms is required; and experience creating reports using SQL based tools is a plus.

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 Opportunity ID 498 Department(s) Consulting Location(s) Boston Job description CohnReznick's Tax Credit Investment Services ("TCIS") practice is a dedicated business unit that provides strategic advisory and due diligence services to help institutional investors make informed decisions on acquiring and managing tax-advantaged real estate investments. TCIS has an immediate need for a Manager based in Boston. The employee will work closely with partner/senior managers to provide real estate consulting services related to affordable housing, historic renovations and other investment tax credit transactions. The candidate must demonstrate solid understanding of the affordable housing and real estate industry, as well as the ability to quickly broaden/sharpen skill sets. A substantial amount of the work will relate to managing and conducting comprehensive reviews of multifamily development transactions specified for placement in fund investments using underwriting packages and closing documentation. Reviews culminate in the generation of high-quality due diligence reports that must accurately assess investment risks relative to real estate markets, development teams, underwriting guidance, and tax and regulatory policies for the benefit of investors. The employee will also manage organizational reviews of tax credit syndication companies by analyzing business strategies, policies & procedures and portfolio performance; as well as support various consulting, industry research and thought leadership initiatives. Working in a fast-paced client servicing environment, the employee will be responsible for managing assigned client relationships and engagements, as well as supervising associates and senior associates. Required Skills: * BS/BA degree real estate, urban planning, accounting, finance, business, economics or related area * Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in real estate underwriting, asset management, financial analysis or development * Required experience with affordable housing and low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) program * Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access and Visio * CPA or other certification preferred not required * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client engagements and team without compromising world-class client service * Strong communication skills, with the proven ability to express complex concepts, both orally and in writing. * The highest levels of integrity, quality and responsiveness in providing solutions to help our clients meet their business objectives. * Team player with high degree of energy and enthusiasm. * Occasional travel required (approximately 10-15%) #LI-DC1 Cohnreznick Boston MA
