The Project Controls Manager serves as an internal business consultant supporting project planning, project delivery, and facilities operations. Primary responsibilities include development of analytical data and reports to enable management to improve departmental efficiencies in key performance areas and the accurate conversion of policy information from and to various systems.
This position will also lead the development and support of project management and operations software systems with Information Services & Technology (IS&T). This new team member will implement, configure and maintain functionality on a Project Management Information System application platform, coordinate Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing, tailor and extend solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness through workflow development and configuration. This position will regularly evaluate and analyze systems, processes, workflows and tasks, and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies in all areas To be successful in this position, candidate must have demonstrated experience and capability implementing, maintaining and building upon business process solutions in construction management, architectural design and engineering or facilities management. Experience with vendor-provided SaaS-based enterprise information management platforms is required; and experience creating reports using SQL based tools is a plus.
