We are seeking a motivated individual to join our construction team as a full-time Project Controls Manager. The purpose of this position is to plan and execute the Project Controls requirements for a project. This role is responsible for providing technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training, and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists. This position serves as Control Team Leader/Project Controls Manager on medium and large-sized projects or as a Subject Manager Expert (SME) for the entire Project Controls Team. Acting as a key resource on a project team, the role will require collaboration at all levels. The ideal candidate would have the following skills and abilities: must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, strong written & verbal communication skills, strong ability to communicate and coordinator multiple people and groups, previous experience in pricing, engineering, and contracting, experience in the electrical trade is preferred, and knowledge of the NEC, IBC, IECC, and life safety codes.


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience: 10 years of related experience in electrical contracting or MED coordination


  • Develop and implement a project controls plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for the project execution.

  • Plan and organize the setup of project baseline in project controls system, and implement a plan to track against the baseline on a regular basis.

  • Develop cost, schedule, and commercial baseline.

  • Responsible for providing technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists.

  • Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management.

  • Supervise the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract.

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Reporting to the Director of Project Sales-Americas, the Project Sales Account Manager advances market share for the Gas Processing Technologies Business Unit, which specializes in process development, technology licensing and modularization of energy-efficient and cost-effective hydrocarbon technologies. We help our clients by enhancing their technical and economic positions in the natural gas industry. Key Responsibilities: * Grow Honeywell UOP's technology licensing, engineering services, proprietary products and equipment, mid and large scale modular equipment and connected solutions business for natural gas processing and treating applications * Manage an assigned group of customer accounts and perform routine sales functions such as site visits to operating plants and client offices, coordination of technical and commercial responses to RFQ's in timely manner, identify new opportunities, and practice a systematic selling process * Communicate the value proposition of Honeywell UOP's technology and equipment to senior level management within the Natural Gas Midstream and Downstream marketplace through a consultative sales approach * Implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive business development in North America (US & Canada) * Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships at multiple levels within the customers' organization (e.g. C-level, engineers, technology subject matter experts, purchasing/contracts managers, and business managers) to create a trusted advisor status for Honeywell UOP * Advise and work with our marketing group on recent market trends in North America to produce effective marketing communications and campaigns * Must be willing and available to travel 40-50% domestic US and Canada, as needed YOU MUST HAVE * Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or directly related disciplines * Minimum 5+ years' experience, which includes Sales experience in the Natural Gas Process and Treating market * Experience in consultative technical selling and customer management; experience working with senior management * Experience with sold products/services to the Natural Gas Processing and Treating industry WE VALUE * MBA or Advance Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or directly related disciplines * The ability to develop strong relationships and cohesive work environment with senior executives and strong problem-solving skills * Strong business acumen; passion for the hydrocarbons industry, along with solid business relationships with network of industry professionals * Hydrocarbons Technology licensing and contract negotiation experience * Strong leadership, project management & time management skills * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Proficient skills in, MS Office Word, EXCEL and PowerPoint Additional Information * Category: Sales * Location: 7130 S.
