ATCS is seeking a motivated Project Controls Manager join our growing organization in our Raleigh, NC location, where we provide a hybrid work environment. This role will support high-profile state and local transportation and facilities projects and may involve work and responsibilities in all areas where ATCS operates (NC, VA, MD, DC, PA, SC).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Support the management and delivery of quality transportation infrastructure projects on-time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client; Organize and prioritize tasks to meet project milestones
Lead various assignments and provide professional scheduling services necessary to support project delivery
Development and preparation of documents and materials needed to effectively manage a schedule
Lead meetings with the project team, prepare presentations and/or reports summarizing findings and/or recommendations
Provide timely and accurate project controls reporting and communication to management
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to discuss project risks, cost estimates and recommend solutions to the project team and management
Support proposal production, with support from Marketing staff, and make project presentations for selections as needed
Provide technical and business development support for the existing ATCS Program Management and Project Controls Discipline portfolio in various areas as well as other ATCS practices such as Transportation, Site Civil, and Construction Services
Expertly allocate required time and resources in order to effectively manage multiple projects and client needs
Provide guidance and support as a mentor to junior engineers and other staff at ATCS
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management
10+ years of technical experience in project controls for large transportation projects and programs, transportation project engineering, and transportation project development and delivery processes
Progressive experience in project controls utilizing Primavera P6 Enterprise on transportation projects
PE license in ATCS markets is highly desired (VA, SC, PA, MD, etc.)
Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) preferred
Cost Estimating Certification (preferred)
Ability to provide exceptional client service; existing relationships with clients, as well as other local engineering firms, desired
Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to effectively oversee staff, projects, and multiple priorities
Ability to travel as needed
Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $79,500 to $123,500 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary.
