Project Controller

Summary The Project Controller is responsible for managing contractual and financial aspects within the Customer Service Business area, focusing primarily on project execution. This role collaborates closely with Operations and Accounting to ensure proper financial setup and maintains the financial health of CSB Projects by analyzing costs, revenue, and risks.

Roles and Responsibilities Promote teamwork, compliance, and continuous improvement. Uphold company objectives related to safety, quality, environmental standards, and information security. Establish the necessary Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in SAP based on project scope requirements.

Manage customer registration, sales order booking, and billing structures. Lead project closure processes in SAP (TECO) and support lessons learned reviews for cost management. Assist the Project Manager with periodic financial reviews to monitor project schedules, costs (planned vs. actual, cost to complete), and project margin optimization.

Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate revenue and cost recognition. Prepare regular financial reports (Sales Order reports, monthly forecasts, quarterly reviews). Develop tools and processes to improve team efficiency in variance reporting and analysis. Optimize project cash flow by overseeing invoicing and collection activities.

Provide ad hoc analysis and support additional duties to enhance project controlling performance. Responsibilities and tasks may change or be reassigned as needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field. 5 years of experience in SAP (preferably SAP FICO, SD, PS Modules). Advanced MS Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis (Pivot Tables, Macros, Formulas). Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects within deadlines.

Detail-oriented with a goal-driven mindset and strong cost analysis skills. High sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to analyze data to devise effective solutions.
