ManTech is currently seeking a motivated Project Control Specialist to support our operations on-site in Chesapeake, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the development of policy and process documentation and related architecture amongst various internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations across the Program.

  • Conduct formal and informal reviews throughout the development life cycle to review and track performance metrics against expected results.

  • Analyze program requirements and draft program documentation to support activities to higher-level management.

  • Maintain a current internal documentation library and provide or coordinate special documentation services as required. Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of documentation.

  • Gather, analyze, and organize Program- and project-level data in for preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation and deliverables which enable internal and external senior leadership decision making.

  • Ensure the use of proper technical terminology across various documentation, and that information is clear, and documents can be used by technical and non-technical personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and four (4) years related experience or Associates degree in related discipline and two (2) years related experience

  • Must have contracting experience related to financials

  • Project Analyst experience

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Project, Word, and Excel)

  • Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment and able to take direction and constructive criticism

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program is preferred

  • Working relevant knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) operations

  • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks

  • Strong technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills

Security Clearance:

  • US citizen and active Secret Security clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Constantly operates a computer and associated office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, computer printer, etc.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
