Parsons is now hiring a Senior Project Control Manager who can lead a team of professionals overseeing every phase of mission critical projects or programs.
In this role you will develop, manage, and/or executes all phases of the project controls effort (planning/scheduling and cost analysis). Our Project Control Managers typically manages small to medium-sized projects. You will utilize widely diversified knowledge of project controls activities, and draws upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients.
In this role you will develop, implement, and maintain cost control, and/or provide planning/scheduling function on one or more larger projects. You will be utilizing your technical expertise, and familiarity with company policies and procedures to complete complicated tasks independently.
Program Budgeting Working with Management to develop, memorialize and obtain approval for program budgets including providing ongoing project coordination with the client teams to provide needed project information.
Tracking and management of project commitments including agreements, contracts, agency agreements and task orders. Management of ongoing commitment compliance and amendments.
Consultant and Agency Invoice processing - Routing of invoices through client approval processes including review of invoices for compliance with contractual terms and conditions as well as compliance with client policy and operating procedures.
Development and processing of invoicing including coordination with client in their processing in order to eliminate confusion, provide answers and increase turnaround time for their ultimate approval and payment to the DCA.
Coordination with DCA Finance and DCO Finance including financial reconciliation to applicable accounting systems
Other Financial Support Activities as required.
Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.
4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field)
15-20 years of related experience, including supervisory/managerial experience
Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field
Proficient PC skills including a proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity
Thorough knowledge of industry practices is required
Incumbent must meet Parsons Project Controls Manager Certification requirements.
