This position is focused on supporting strategic ecosystem programs for the Customer Innovation Team, working for the Technology & Innovation Board Area. This includes strategy execution with partners and customers in direct engagements and creation of long-lasting referenceable innovation cases. Cross alignments with other Board Areas and other Business Units are also key to success to ensure technology and platforms are leveraged on all critical ecosystem engagements of all Lines of business. The team functions as central instance to own customer and partner activities, processes, governance and cover all non-regional customer generation topics as well as alignment with GCO and OCEO board areas to make sure the sales channels to execution are well enabled and aligned.
The Project Consultant is responsible to support strategy development as well as strategic programs to boost Technology & Innovation portfolio and change market perception across lines of business. Is organizing various sub project teams and the team work. Ensures to meet program specific goals (scope, quality, budget, time) and is a facilitator organizes meetings and supports the sub project team or work stream in its activities and project tasks. Bringing people together and drive them towards a joint and measurable outcome will be one of the main tasks.
The Project Consultant has good moderation and communication skills. Is the project management contact and ensures best possible working conditions for the team. Is aware of Project Management processes and tools and applies them in his or her daily work. Is working independently and collaborative within given area of responsibility. Gives regular updates to manager or project manager on status.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Support cross alignments with other Board Areas and other Business Units
Support event planning and preparation in close collaboration with marketing teams on e.g. SAP Forum, Analyst Days, Sapphire Now
Support the executive team in reporting activities and drive preparation, execution and follow-ups of meetings
Managing sub projects or work streams
Support the overall project management in all project phases (Project Start and Planning, Leading Teams, Risk-, Change- and Conflict Management, Project Communication and Monitoring, Commitment Management)
Execution and analysis of project reporting
Coordination of project management activities (meetings, schedule, rooms).
Ensures the delivery of sub project according to overall project specific goals
Finds the right balance between tactical and strategic tasks
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology or related field
Analytical, conceptual and methodological skills and knowledge
Quick understanding and high willingness to learn
Active participation in small projects
Project Management basics
English business fluent
Ability to work in virtual and distributed teams
German language skills
2-3 years of professional work experience or comparable environment
Experience with working in an international environment
