  • Location: Fully remote. Prefer to be based in Houston, TX, Radnor, PA, Cleveland, OH or Draper, UT but not required.

  • Travel: 75% expected; however travel could increase due to project needs.

  • Reports to: Senior Director of Project Execution

  • Pay range: $130,000-160,000 + annual bonus

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Job Description Summary: The Project Construction Manager is responsible for leading the Team of Field Project Manager in charge of supervising field activities of Airgas' Capital projects. A key measure of success is to ensure that the projects are constructed on time, within budget and to the quality specified in scope documents. He/She will take an active role in managing construction as well as managing the Airgas Field Project team.

  • To provide leadership and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with and to ensure full and transparent alignment with all those involved in the project (including AL CIAM, AL E&C, Execution Partners, internal project stakeholders, etc.)

  • To ensure that each individual and group involved in the project understands their respective responsibilities, accountabilities and deliverables

  • To interface with external partners (e.g. EP/CM Alliance Partners) and drive success with schedule management, cost control, purchasing of equipment and materials.

  • Manage the construction of small capital projects and work with the business development team to make recommendations as to the best on-site solutions

  • Develop construction management plans

  • Ensure that the construction process is well managed and meets the needs of the projects

  • Support the project managers ensuring that the construction is planned and executed in a timely and safe manner, and within budget.

Required Qualifications

  • 15 years experience of progressively responsible industry experience in Project Management required

  • BS in Engineering/related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Previous direct management experience

  • Capital project experience in the $1-$80M range.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 20 plus years experience of progressively responsible industry experience in Project Management

  • Industrial gas experience a plus
