Salary: $30-$35 per hour depending on experience

Year-Round Seasonal Position average of 20 hours per week

The Project and Construction Management Assistant (PCMA) will be instrumental in ensuring the agency successfully executes several capital improvement and cyclic maintenance projects over the course of the next 2-3 years.

This is a remote position, though periodic in-person attendance will be required. Travel in state and occasionally out of state may be required.

Duties and Tasks

Responsibilities:

Conducting project update meetings and prepare meeting minutes.

Assist with project execution, addenda, contract execution and vendor documentation.

Keeping projects aligned with project timelines, agency goals and program budget.

Conduct project monitoring, expedite reviews and actions by internal and external stakeholders,

Monitor construction administration by consultants.

Monitor and ensure internal record retention, review, and respond to Requests for Information, Project Change Requests, and Payment Requests/Invoicing

Assist with project close-out activities.

Participate in scoping and planning of projects by assisting in researching methods and materials; assisting in coordinating site surveys, geotechnical studies or other site data.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proven leadership, interpersonal, communications, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills, as well as the ability to mediate and collaborate effectively with a wide range of professional and personality types.

Proven experience operating successfully as part of a team.

Computer experience and knowledge of project management applications

Dedication to continuous learning

Familiarity with Surveying, Cost Estimating, Construction Administration and Budget Management

Minimum Qualifications

2 or 4 year Degree in a relevant engineering discipline, architecture, landscape architecture, project management, construction management or similar discipline or 4 years' experience showcasing the knowledge, skills and responsibilities listed

ND Class D or higher driver's license within 30 days of appointment
